TLTD Telescopic Cylinders are linear actuators that extend beyond the total length of the closed cylinder. The design concept involves inserting one cylinder inside another, so the selection is based on the maximum extension force (the one with the smaller diameter). They are manufactured in two diameters: 20 and 40.

TLTD 3-extension telescopic cylinder
A TLTD 3-extension telescopic cylinder is a hydraulic actuator designed to provide a large stroke from a compact retracted length, by means of three progressively extendable stages .
This is a telescopic hydraulic cylinder composed of three concentric tubes (extensions) that extend sequentially when hydraulic pressure is applied. The TLTD model is designed for industrial or mobile applications where strength, stability, and long stroke are required.

Important notes for proper operation
- The telescopic cylinder is suitable for use in pushing due to the low force developed on the return stroke.
- The moving load should only be guided when the cylinder carries axial loads.
- The order of the exit stage is random, while the return is sequential, from highest to lowest.
- Increasing the cylinder stroke increases the waiting time for reversing the movement by driving all the extensions.
- Speed regulation is only possible for the return stroke. For the outward stroke, it can be adjusted using a pressure regulator in the power supply.
