The chain and pinion mechanism transmits a circular and rotating movement between two axes. Normally these axes are located parallel and rotate in the same direction.  You can vary the speed but not the direction of rotation. Also through the joining mechanism, they can be shortened or lengthened to the desired length.

The toothed pinions are made of F-114 steel, blued in black. They can be served in blind sprockets or sprockets with a keyway. Roller chains are formed by the alternative union of pieces called inner links and outer links joined by a pin that allows rotation movement.

The transmission sprockets and chains are manufactured according to DIN-8187 ISO-606 standard and their rotation transmission is slip-free. It is insensitive to temperature.
