DOUBLE NG-6 OVERCENTER (BALANCE) VALVE

NG-6 DOUBLE OVERCENTER VALVE

The NG-6 double overcenter valve is used to control movement and lock the actuator in both directions, performing the following functions:

  • Controlled lowering of the load that is not dragged by its weight, since the valve does not allow any cavitation of the actuator.
  • Limitation of maximum pressure in the event of shocks caused by load, overloads or sudden maneuvers (load control with open-center distributor).
  • These valves block the oil outlet from the actuator until a pilot pressure is reached in the inlet line that is inversely proportional to the load the actuator must support. This prevents the load from running away, and the load descent speed corresponds to the flow rate controlled by the distributor.
  • In the event of zero pilot pressure, the pressure required to open the valve corresponds to its setting, functioning as a braking valve.
