HYDROCARBON PUMPING HOSE 16 BAR

The 16 bar hydrocarbon pumping hose is a mandrel-built tube for pumping oils, mineral greases and hydrocarbons with up to 50% aromatic content.

It is frequently used in tanker trucks, gas stations, ships, etc.

Technical specifications:

  • Inner tube: Smooth black NBR synthetic rubber – resistant to hydrocarbons.
  • Reinforcement: High-tenacity synthetic braid. Incorporates copper wire for electrostatic discharge.
  • Outer cover: Black NBR/EPDM synthetic rubber resistant to abrasion, weathering, and severe operating conditions. Surface with a fine fabric print.
  • Working pressure 16 bar.
  • Temperature -20ºC / 80ºC

A 16 bar hydrocarbon pumping hose is a type of industrial hose specifically designed to transport fuels and petroleum products, such as gasoline, diesel, oils, kerosene, or mixtures with aromatics.

Characteristics

  • Internal material: hydrocarbon-resistant synthetic rubber (NBR, nitrile, or special blends).
  • Reinforcement: textile layers or metal spirals to withstand pressure and prevent collapse.
  • Outer layer: resistant to abrasion, weathering and in some cases to hydrocarbons as well.
  • Temperature range between -20 °C and +80 °C.
  • Working pressure: 16 bar

Common uses
