PG AIR CANNON

The PG air cannon is designed to generate powerful jets of compressed air. These air jets are used for various tasks such as surface cleaning, product drying, dust removal and fluidization of bulk materials. Other uses of the air cannon are for the corners of polygonal hoppers with tiled discharge cones, where hammering or vibration are not applicable. They are also successfully used in cases where bridges are formed.

Technical data sheet:

  • Working pressure: 3-6 bar (44-87 PSI).
  • Air consumption per cycle: 0.3-4.8 Nl ( 0.01-0.2 cu ft).
  • Direct effect on the product.
  • Control box option to adjust pauses and operation intervals, by timer, min 30 sec.
  • 0 impact on the structure of the container or silo.

The PG hammer, with electro-pneumatic control (pneumatic, on request) sends almost instantaneously a quantity of high pressure air into the silo or hopper causing the typical effects of an explosion that causes rat holes or bridges to collapse.
