A Fig 531 stainless steel 316 inner sleeve is a threaded fitting used to join two pipes or tubes of the same material but different diameters, creating a reduction in flow size. It is a cylindrical piece with a male thread at one end and a tapered inner diameter that decreases towards the other end.

Applications: oil and gas industry, chemical industry, food and pharmaceutical industry, irrigation and sprinkler systems and water treatment.
