METRIC TAPERED THREADED PIPE ELBOW UNION
Metric tapered threaded pipe elbow union
A metric tapered threaded elbow fitting is a pipe or hose connection fitting designed to divert fluid flow at a 90° angle in liquid transport systems, complying with food-grade regulations. It combines an instant pipe coupling with a metric tapered thread that allows for a quick and secure connection to threaded equipment or fittings.
Applications: transport of liquids, beverages, oils and other food products where hygiene, safety and ease of maintenance are required.
Main features:
- High-performance instant fitting for food use.
- Working pressure -1 / 20 bar
- Serving temperature -20 / 90ºC
- Body and clamp in POM (acetylic resin), seals E-PDM (suitable for contact with food)
- Available tube diameters: 4-6-8-10-12 (metric series) and 5/32-3/16-1/4-5/16-3/8-1/2 (inch series)
- They can be connected with rigid tubes such as stainless steel, dekabon or copper.
- Available threads: 1/8-1/4-3/8-1/2 (metric series) and 1/8NPT-1/4NPT-3/8NPT-1/2NPT (inch series)
- They offer better performance than other models available on the market.
- Approved in accordance with Directive 200/95/EC RoHS and 1907/2006 and other European regulations.
Elbow joint with metric tapered thread
An instant food fitting in the form of an elbow with a tube union and metric tapered thread is a connection accessory for liquid or gas transport systems in the food industry, designed to divert the flow at a 90° angle and allow quick and secure connections between pipes or hoses with metric standards.
