A tapered thread elbow with a nut and bicone fitting is a 90° fitting designed to connect a rigid pipe to a male tapered threaded port. It provides a secure, watertight connection suitable for confined spaces.

Main features:

  • Made of nickel-plated brass UNI-EN 12164CWG14N.
  • Good resistance to pressure and working temperature.
  • Tapered thread 1507 - DIN 2999 and cylindrical thread ISO 228.
  • Max. working pressure 110 bar up to Ø 8 mm, 60 bar from Ø 10 to 18 mm.
  • Suitable for copper, iron, aluminum, brass, PA, and PU tubes

Description

Tapered threaded elbow, pipe nut and bicone

The connection to the pipe is made using a compression system with a nut and a bicone fitting, which, when tightened, creates a hermetic metal seal . The male tapered thread on the other end ensures a seal through deformation and direct tightening. This type of joint allows the pipe's direction to be changed without bending it, facilitating installations in confined spaces and guaranteeing a strong, leak-free connection even under pressure.
