PIN FOR SWING FIXTURES
Pin for oscillating fixings
A pivot pin is a mechanical component designed to act as an axle in joints that allow one part to pivot relative to another. It is essential in applications requiring a movable and detachable joint.
Applications: fixing pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders (such as forks and hinges) and tilt and turn window mechanisms.
Main features:
- It is supplied with Seeger rings.
- Made of steel.
Pin for oscillating fixings
A pivot pin is the metal shaft that allows articulation and pivoting movement in pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder assemblies. Its main function is to connect the moving part (rod) or the fixed part (rear end) of the cylinder to a support, allowing the cylinder to oscillate to compensate for misalignment or perform arcing movements.
It has two grooves at the ends where the Seeger rings fit to prevent the pin from coming out of place.
Common applications
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic Cylinders
- Agricultural machinery
- Mechanical joints
