STRAIGHT CONNECTION TO CONICAL THREADED PIPE
Straight union pipe tapered thread
A straight pipe-to-tapered thread coupling is used to quickly and securely join two sections of pipe with tapered threads. It provides a watertight and durable seal, thanks to the tapered shape of the threads which, when tightened, create a leak-proof joint.
Applications: Pneumatic systems, Hydraulic systems, Chemical industry and Construction
Technical specifications:
- Maximum pressure: 15 bar (1.5 MPa)
- Minimum temperature: -20° C
- Maximum temperature: +80° C
- The fittings are available in the following sizes:
- Tubes: from 4/2.7 to 15/12.5;
- Threads: from 1/8 to 1/2.
Straight union pipe tapered thread
A straight pipe-to-tapered union is a connecting fitting used to join a pipe to a threaded port or component using a male tapered thread that ensures a tight seal. This type of fitting allows for a direct, linear connection, guaranteeing a strong, leak-proof joint suitable for lubrication, pneumatic, or light hydraulic systems.
Advantages
- Excellent sealing without the need for internal gaskets.
- Compatible with rigid or semi-rigid tubes (depending on the version).
- Easy installation.
- High resistance to pressure and vibrations.
Applications
- Automatic lubrication systems.
- Industrial pneumatics.
- Low and medium pressure hydraulics.
- Connections in machinery, automation and industrial equipment.
