What are guillemin fittings?

Guillemin couplings are a symmetrical coupling system, meaning both halves are identical. Guillemins have locking rings to connect and secure the other half. They are the French standard for tank connections. They are suitable for both pumping and suction of liquids and solids such as powders and granules.

How do guillemin fittings work?

The Guillemin coupling connects simply by joining both halves and rotating a locking ring that fits into a channel on the other half of the coupling, creating a firm and secure connection. The couplings can be tightened by hand or with the help of specially designed wrenches.

The standard material for the guillemets is aluminum and stainless steel , with optional sealing rings in white EPDM, Viton, NBR, and Kalrez available upon request. The couplings are also available without the locking mechanism, although the locking mechanism must be present on at least one of the halves to enable connection.
