A nickel-plated brass non-return valve is a mechanical device that allows fluid to flow in only one direction and prevents its return, protecting installations and equipment.

A nickel-plated brass check valve is an automatic, non-manually operated valve, primarily made of brass and coated with nickel. It is installed in liquid or gas pipelines to prevent backflow, ensuring unidirectional flow of the fluid in the direction indicated on the valve body. It must be installed respecting the flow direction indicated by an arrow on the body.
It allows fluid to flow when the pressure is in the correct direction and closes automatically when the pressure drops or reverses. This prevents network contamination, damage to pumps and compressors, water hammer, and loss of pressure or performance.
