NG-6 SINGLE OVERCENTER VALVE

The NG-6 simple overcenter valve is used to control the movement and block the actuator in both directions, performing the following functions:

  • Controlled lowering of the load that is not dragged by its weight, since the valve does not allow any cavitation of the actuator.
  • Limitation of the maximum pressure in case of shocks caused by the load, overloads or sudden maneuvers (load control with open center distributor).
  • These valves block the oil outlet of the actuator until a pilot pressure is reached in the inlet line that is inversely proportional to the load to be supported by the actuator. In this way, the load does not go into overdrive, and the speed of descent of the load corresponds to the flow controlled by the distributor.
  • In case of zero pilot pressure, the pressure necessary to open the valve corresponds to its setting, functioning as a braking valve.
