The B5 three-phase electric motor is an asynchronous AC machine designed to operate with a 230/400 V AC three-phase power supply at 50/60 Hz . Its B5 configuration with a front flange complies with IEC 60072 , allowing for direct and centered coupling with pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and other industrial equipment requiring precise alignment and high mechanical rigidity .
