Flexible polyurethane aeration hoses are an ideal solution for industry.
These hoses are made from a transparent polyurethane compound reinforced with a copper-plated steel spiral , offering a perfect combination of strength and flexibility. Polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane is known for its exceptional abrasion resistance, much greater than that of PVC and rubber, as it retains its properties even at extreme temperatures (it withstands temperatures from -40ºC to +100ºC).
This makes it ideal for transporting highly abrasive materials such as wood dust, shavings, granules, or cement. Furthermore, polyurethane is lightweight, flexible, and resistant to oils, greases, and hydrocarbons.
Copper-plated steel spiral
On one hand, the spiral allows the hose to maintain its shape and not collapse under strong suction, ensuring a constant and uninterrupted flow. On the other hand, the copper coating acts as an electrical conductor, dissipating the static charge generated when transporting powdered materials.

We have 3 different models available, depending on the thickness that best suits the installation:
- Standard thickness (lightweight) . Ideal for extraction applications handling air, fumes, or light, non-abrasive particles. It's the most flexible and economical option for applications where weight and ease of movement are priorities.
- Medium thickness. This option offers a balance between flexibility and strength. It is commonly used for vacuuming wood chips, plastic, and other granular materials with moderate abrasion.
- Heavy-duty thickness (maximum abrasion resistance). Designed for the most demanding and abrasive jobs, it offers superior resistance to abrasion and crushing. Essential for transporting heavy materials such as rubble, sand, gravel, or wood chips.
Keys to installation
- Choose the right length. You must accurately measure the distance between the connection points. A hose that is too short will be under constant strain, while a hose that is too long may collapse or become tangled.
- Use the correct clamp. The clamp should hold the hose securely without deforming it. Always use a worm gear or band clamp designed for this type of hose, and in high-vibration applications, consider using double clamps for added security.
- Respect the bend radius. Although they are very flexible, each hose has a minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer. Forcing too tight an angle creates excessive stress on the hose wall and coil, which can lead to cracks or splits.

Hoses for ATEX (Explosive Atmospheres) environments incorporate a steel spiral that must be grounded. The spiral acts as a conductor, safely dissipating static charge and preventing sparks.
