PREVOST CLOGGING INDICATOR

A Prevost clogging indicator visually displays the level of obstruction or saturation of a PREVOST compressed air filter. Its function is to alert the user when the filter element is dirty and needs to be replaced.

Application: micron and submicron filters

Description

Prevost clogging indicator

The Prevost clogging indicator is used to monitor the condition of the filter cartridges in the MFM/MFS range of micron and submicron filters. It detects fouling of the filter element and facilitates preventive maintenance of compressed air systems.

Operation

As the filter cartridge becomes saturated, the pressure drop across the filter increases. The indicator allows you to visualize this situation and determine when it is necessary to clean or replace the filter element , preventing you from working with an excessively clogged filter.
