WAFER TYPE UNIDIRECTIONAL PNEUMATIC KNIFE GATE VALVE

The wafer-type pneumatic one-way knife gate valve, also known as a gate or sluice gate, is suitable for liquids containing a maximum of 5% suspended solids. If used for gravity discharge of dry solids, it is recommended to install it with the arrow on the body pointing away from the flow direction.

Applications: paper industry, mining, wastewater treatment, chemical plants, food industry, pumping, silo unloading, etc.

Technical sheet:

  • It provides high flow rates with low pressure losses.
  • One-piece cast body with slides to support the gate and closing wedges.
  • Multiple closure and gasket materials available.
  • Flanges according to EN 1092-1 PN10.
  • Body: Made of GJS-500-7 nodular steel and CF8M stainless steel
  • Gate: Made of AISI 304 stainless steel for valves with steel bodies and AISI 316 stainless steel for valves with CF8M bodies. Other materials can be supplied upon request.
  • Packing: standard synthetic + PTFE manufacturing.
  • Gasket: Standard EPDM. Nitrile, FPM, Viton, silicone, or PTFE can be supplied upon request.
  • Seat 1 - metal/metal seal: does not include any type of sealing gasket and the estimated leakage is 1.5% of the flow rate in the pipe.
  • Seat 2 - standard metal/rubber closure: includes a sealing gasket secured to the body internally by a clamping ring made of AISI-316
  • Working pressure 3-10 bar
