NBR O-ring thread

The O-ring or cord is an extruded profile with a circular section.

O-rings allow the manufacture of virtually any gasket size without the need to invest in expensive moulding tools. Once the required O-ring length is known, it is cut and its ends are joined with adhesive or by hot vulcanisation.

Technical data sheet:

  • Made of acrylonitrile/butadiene rubber (NBR) and hardness from 60 to 90 Shore A
  • Temperature -35ºC / 100ºC.
