Styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) is a synthetic material that serves as a versatile and widespread alternative to natural rubber (NR) in industrial and commercial applications. As a more economical option than other types of elastomers, it provides remarkable qualities of wear resistance, elastic recovery, flexibility, and friction resistance. Compared to natural rubber, SBR exhibits greater tolerance to elevated temperatures and deterioration over time.
It is commonly used in automotive, mining, or industrial environments subject to high degrees of abrasion that require materials with a long lifespan and maximum performance.
It is sold in roll or sheet formats, or cut to specific dimensions to manufacture custom rubber bands, sleeves or gaskets.
Neoprene is notable for its excellent resistance to environmental conditions, chemicals, and mechanical stress. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, particularly in industrial settings.
