HYDRAULIC MOTOR BRAKE
The negative hydraulic motor brake is a safety system or mechanism coupled to the motor that blocks the motor shaft when it is not receiving pressure or is stopped.
Applications: cranes and loading machines, conveyor belts, agricultural equipment, mining industry, slewing and positioning systems.
Main features:
- For VNKP (OMP) and VNKR (OMR) series engines
- Static torque 200 / 230 410 / 450 Nm
- Outlet and inlet for Ø25 cylindrical shaft with keyway.
- High-strength friction disc and spring.
- Low noise.
- Temperature -20/90ºC
- Maximum opening pressure 30 bar.
Hydraulic motor brake
A hydraulic motor brake is a device intended to stop, maintain, or control the rotational movement of a hydraulic motor, especially when there is a risk of movement due to inertia or the load connected to the shaft.
Its function is to provide sufficient braking torque to stop the load and, when necessary, to keep it safely immobilized.
Applications
It is commonly used in winches, cranes, mobile machinery, excavators, swing systems, conveyors and lifting equipment , where it is necessary to control or block the movement generated by a hydraulic motor.
