Compressed air networks consist of a pneumatic circuit made up of pipes and other accessories, as well as valves or distributors. Through these, the air flow moves from a compressor to the service unit where this air is required. These pneumatic networks are preceded by a compressed air compressor, a dryer, an air tank and filters.

Depending on several factors, there are two types of compressed air networks: closed and open.

Closed compressed air networks

Closed compressed air networks involve a greater initial investment. On the other hand, they offer ease in maintenance work, since certain parts of the system can be isolated without affecting production. In this type of network, the air flow is not constant, and changes depending on consumption. The main line is constituted by a ring system.

Open compressed air networks

As for open pneumatic networks, they require less investment at the beginning. Another of its main characteristics or advantages is that inclinations can be implemented in this type of networks for the evaluation of condensates. Regarding maintenance, it is possible to have to resort to stopping the air supply (and consequently, stopping production) for proper inspection or repair. Open compressed air networks are made up of a main line from which the service and secondary lines flow.

For the installation of a compressed air network, approved and certified EN AW T6 UNI-EN 755-2 extruded aluminum alloy tube is usually used. Pressure range -0.6 / 16 bar. It has a titanium-based exterior and interior treatment, exterior electroplating paint, blue RAL 5012. chrome-free, complies with Rohs standard. Does not require maintenance. Minimum friction coefficient. Its anti-corrosion eliminates the risk of leaks. For application in compressed air distribution systems, although it is compatible with other fluids, water, vacuum, neutral gases.

To connect and distribute the compressed air, nut fittings made of technopolymer and stainless steel cutting ring are used. Great variety of accessories and fittings to be able to carry out any assembly to overcome obstacles, such as pillars, walls, etc.

They withstand a temperature of -30ºC / 80ºC. The available diameters of both fittings and pipe are 16-20-25-32-40-50-63. Reaction to fire: EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009 EN ISO13823:2010

Ease of assembly, connection and disconnection, They are reusable.

Compressed air networks are installed in all types of industries or workshops where compressed air is required.
