Straight chain union

A straight link is a type of outer link, used to establish an installation or disassembly of a roller chain with an even number of pitches.

Straight joints can be pin, cotter pin or riveted.

Pin joints are easier to assemble. For greater security, riveted joints are recommended.

The straight link is inserted into the inner links of the chain, allowing the connection between them and facilitating the relative movement of the links.

Applications: power transmission, agriculture, automotive, food industry.
