What are Camlocks?

Camlocks are a type of quick coupler used to connect and disconnect a hose or pipe quickly, easily and safely. Using the lever system, the male fitting is perfectly anchored in the female fitting.

They are mainly used in the chemical industry due to their safety and ease of use, but also for the passage of petroleum products, in laboratories, the food industry, etc.

Types of Camlocks or Links

Camlocks fittings are classified as follows:

• Camlock type “A” stainless :

• Camlock type “B” stainless : female camlock + female thread connection.

• Stainless “C” type camlock : female camlock + spigot

• Camlock type “D” : female camlock + male thread connection

• Camlock type “E” stainless : male camlock + spigot

• Stainless “F” type camlock : male camlock + male thread connection

• Stainless “DP” type camlock : male camlock + blind (TAP)

• Stainless “DC” type camlock : female + blind camlock (TAP)
